The officer who drove drunk ( he admits it) with his kids deserves the max the law will allow. Talk about bad judgement. Of course there were other people on the road with their kids that could have been victims of a wreck resulting from his condition. There is no excuse for such activity. Alcohol is not to blame. Bad judgement is to blame. It could just as easily have been too much prescription medication. We must be careful what we imbibe so that we don't go over the line regardless of what we're taking. In any case a crime was committed and guilt has been admitted so now the law must do its job.
If the city know about this OT theft and does nothing about it could a citizen call the AG in our state and get a cover up case started?

The police answer to the mayor as far as I know. The mayor's office would be the place to start. A letter would be appropriate in this case I think.

Has anyone heard about the cop that turned some ot for pay that was not worked? It appears that the cop was paid for time that she left a training in Richmond, she left two hours before the rest of the officers that were there. Then she put in for the pay and was busted by her fellow officers. The complaint was never acted on by the head of the PD for some reason. How can a citizen make a complaint about this? It is a big cover up?

Years ago, I had a friend who was an alcoholic and good mechanic. I didn't want to see him behind the wheel sober. He was dangerous when sober.
