What is causing all this violence with the police? It's fairly normal to have shootings and stabbings between individuals but the police seldom have to resort to guns to enforce the law. I think maybe we should look into the law enforcement procedures and see if we have inadvertantly put pressure on the police to shoot people rather than outsmarting them.
No, let's investigate whether the Kentucky State Police violated a U. S. Supreme Court ruling saying police may not use deadly for the purpose of apprehending a fleeing suspect even a felony suspect since the suspect was apparently shot in the back. This I believe, is the reason why neither the hospital or Kentucky State Police will give the mother a straight answer.
This ruling was handed down on March 29, 1985 in the case of Garner Vs. Tennessee.
